Protect Your Babies from Swine Flu
I have a baby, well.. not really a baby since he is 20 months old now, but for us, he is still a baby. If you have a baby, of course you will understand that you love your baby more than you love yourself. You will do anything to keep him happy, and for sure, health is your primary concern. My message now is to protect your baby from infant swine flu.

Newborn swine flu is the worst nightmare for parents. Compare to the bird flu, the swine flu has less fatality rate, but it spreads faster than the bird flu. There is no compromize in keeping the health of our babies. To protect your babies from swine flu, you could follow these simple tips:
- Keep your babies and children away from people who are showing symptoms of illness. The minimum safety distance is one meter. When people cough or sneeze, they will throw thousands of viruses that can easily infect your baby. Don’t feel rude by keeping your baby away from them.
- If a member of your family is sick, please tell them not to cuddle the baby or make up the bottles. The antibody of a baby is not as stroung as ours. A simple cold can be very serious for a baby. It’s OK to tell them not to cuddle your baby, they will understand it.
- Please make sure that your hands are clean when you want to play or cuddle the baby. If you just arrive at home, I can understand if you want to hug the baby as soon as possible, but I would suggest you to change your clothes first before you do that.
- Don’t make your baby stress, it will decrease his/her immune system. If your baby doesn’t want to eat, don’t force him/her. Just play with the baby while you try to put some food in his/her mouth.
We should give enough attention to our babies. It is very important for you to always get the latest information on swine flu. Find a trusted Baby Health Care that can always update you with the latest tips and news for your baby.
